Rebels' Smokehouse Beverley Winter's Night

Rebels' Smokehouse opened on the 4th July 2013 in Beverley East Riding of Yorkshire, it was the brainchild of Sally McIntosh and Jason Rowe. Sally is a native of Alabama and moved to the UK after meeting her English husband in the US.

 

 

In January 2017, Rebel's was merged with Jason's other restaurant group Rub Smokehouse & Bars with restaurants in Birmingham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne & Nottingham. Rub are a very successful group of smokehouses, the founders, Sean Singer, Lucas Billingham and Jason Rowe all met in Rebels' where the dynamic of the relationship led to the first opening in Nottingham. American BBQ food served in a party atmosphere.

Rebel Rebel Your Face is a Mess Napkin from Rebels' Smokehouse

Rebels' & Rub are BBQ restaurants with it routes firmly in the South of the USA. We take our meat very seriously and use a butchers called Sykes House Farm 'The Chef's Butcher' near Wetherby North Yorkshire. Their passion for meat cuts is evident and their farming ethics are second to none. They have years of expertise in butchery of American style cuts of meat. All of our meat is cooked in our smokers 'Hank & Marvin' overnight, marinated first with our secret 'Rub' blend of spices. The Brisket & Pork Shoulder is cooked low n slow for around 16 hours.

Parking is free on Sundays & after 6pm every evening, there is a car park on New Walkergate Beverley, within 50 yards of Rebels'. Beverley Train Station is a 5 minute walk away.
